The co-operative membership

Cumbria Cruises is part of The Co-operative Travel which means that if you are a Co-operative Member you will receive even more benefits when booking with us.

WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP?

As a co-operative business, we are owned by our members. Anyone can become a member as long as they believe in what we stand for.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All you have to do is invest £1 which will be collected from your first share of the profits. You then receive a cash payment based on the points
you earn for spending in any of our family of businesses including Food, Travel, Pharmacy, Funeralcare, Bank, Insurance, Legal Services, On Line Shop & Sunwin Motors.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?

In Travel £2 = 1 point, so, for example if you booked a cruise to the value of £3000, you would receive 1500 membership points.
Based on the final value of 1 point for the 2008 financial year of 2.00p, you would receive a payout of £30.00^. You could also increase your share of the profit by
shopping with our family of businesses.

The Co-operative Membership office hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 8pm, Sat 10am to 4pm. Calls cost an average of 5p per minute, depending on your call provider and call plan. Calls may be monitored for quality standard purposes.  In addition, we regularly gather feedback from members who have used our helpline to ensure we provide the best possible service.

^This is an example based on the value of a point declared for the full years 2008 share of the profits payment. The actual amount you
would receive depends on the profitability of Co-operative Group Ltd.
