Red Arrow Display Team, Greenock

Red Arrows

On 20 September 1967, the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2 was launched on the River Clyde.

To mark the 40th anniversary of this historic event, the QE2 paid a visit to Greenock on the 20th September 2007. The Red Arrows, operating out of Prestwick Airport carried out a 23 minute display which, in the words of the organisers, brought Greenock to a standstill.
